Samira is now offering training packages tailor made to suit individual requirements. The course is structured over 4 days and is delivered on a one to one basis by the Mehndi master Samira herself.
Is this Course for me?
From beginners to advance level students, who has a passion and drive of becoming a professional Mehndi Artist or you could simply be passionate about Mehndi wanting to elaborate and enhance on your designing skills, whatever your background; this course focuses on design, technique and above all application of henna. You will have the opportunity to learn the secrets behind Samira Mehndi and be inspired by the unique style and encouragement of her teaching.
Samira will ensure students are pushed to reach their level best.
Course structure:
Duration of course: 4 Days
Times: 9.30- 4.30
Course Dates: email info@samiramehndi.co.uk with your preferred dates
Course Venue: Bradford, Leeds & Huddersfield (More locations coming soon)
Day 1focuses on preparation. You will be taught how to make and preserve henna using fresh ingredients and given the opportunity to make your own Mehndi paste and hand rolled cones.
Day 2focuses on Design and Application. You will practice primary motifs and shapes and will be taught how to construct these into a repeating design using professional techniques such as shading and aligning. You will be given the opportunity to research various styles from around the World and distinguish the different styles to re-create your own.
Day 3 is based on Occasional and Bridal Mehndi. We will focus on the differences between the two and create your own.
Day 4 is when you will have the opportunity to put your skills and technique into practice. You will get the opportunity to create your own work of Art and have it captured by a professional photographer.
On completing the 4 day training programme, students are highly recommended to undertake periods of study and practice at home using their training manual and support from Samira as required.
